Dinner at the recently reopened @press_food_and_wine! This was from a couple of weeks ago. It was an absolutely fantastic meal! We went with a la carte rather than the feed me menu. The food was amazing. The wine selection was great. The service was excellent. Overall, a huge huge improvement over the old Press. . Gazander oysters: we normally aren't huge fans of oysters, but these were really nicely done 🙂🙂. Tastes very fresh, and not too oyster-y. Good way to start off the meal! . Bread: nice warm bread, with a very smooth butter. I was very hungry when the bread got served, so it was perfect timing 😂😂. . Potato skins, fromage blanc, tarragon: these stuffed potato skins were fantastic! They're super crunchy, and the stuffing was super creamy. Amazing dish 😍😍🤤🤤. . Chicken liver parfait, choux au craquelin, onion caramel: omg I totally loved their version of the chicken liver parfait! The choux pastry was excellent, and gave it a nice sweet flavour. The liver parfait was super smooth. Just absolutely perfection 😍😍. . Seasonal crudités, spiced yoghurt: nice pickled and fresh vegetables. Good to have along with the heavier dishes like the liver parfait. . Boston Bay pork ribs, pepper, lime, plum: these pork ribs were nice and tender, and the sauce was really interesting 🙂🙂. Not like your typical pork ribs. . Kingfish crudo, olive oil, pink pepper, fennel: this dish tasted very fresh 🤤🤤. So delicious! . Kangaroo tartare, leek, yolk, potato: I must say I've never had kangaroo tartare before 😜. Tastes a little bit like beef tartare, but this dish was delicious! It was very much full of flavour, but didn't really have a raw meat feel to it. . Abalone, chicken skin, root vegetables: I couldn't really taste the chicken skin, but this dish was nicely balanced. Lots of different flavours and textures 🙂. . Dry-aged beef, beef fat vinaigrette, celeriac: Wow! This beef was excellent! It was soooooo good! Very tender. Full of flavour. Perfect 😍😍😍. . For the level of quality across food and service, this restaurant is very decently priced. Attentive waiter who made fantastic recommendations and made sure our bread never ran out. The food was sensational, we may have over loaded on beef but we still cleaned the plates. Incredible atmosphere like some loft restaurant out of Soho.

What an amazing experience. Our waitress was exceptional (I wish I could remember her name). Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made our night very warm and special. The food was delicious and the ambience was exactly how we like it. We will be back for sure.

I am surprised to read the last few reviews. We had such a lovely experience. Tilly the manager was accomodating, she took us on a food and wine journey. The food was delicious and the wine was perfectly matched. Great service and great food. I highly recommend.

Service was fantastic. Food was pretty good, though the carpaccio and sashimi were needing a little more crunch texture as they were fairly similar. A couple more dairy free options would be appreciated.

Outstanding food. Press was always our favorite years ago, but we stayed away as the quality declined with change of staff. This is now excellent! The fit out is stylish. We are a bit jaded with “feed me” menus, but this one kept surprising. Even catered to our different dietaries. Tillie did a great job with service. New fave!!

Hands down, the BEST steak I've ever had in my life 🥩🔥—and I know my steaks! Every bite was perfection: tender, juicy, and cooked to absolute mastery. The presentation? Stunning 🤩🍴—every dish looked like a piece of art. We also shared a few starters, and wow, they were next-level! Perfectly cooked, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavour 🤤👌. Wait times were a bit longer than expected ⏳, but I think it was because we asked to share starters (our bad 😅). Totally worth the wait, though—flawless experience overall! 🙌 If you’re in Adelaide, do yourself a favour and check this place out! 💯👏

Visiting Adelaide for holiday, my partner and I booked this place randomly. Nice quiet place, atmosphere pleasant and intimate. We chose the set menu they had at the time and got to try things we wouldn't normally go for - the Fregola dish! That was the highlight for me. Phenomenal. Portions were good between us and we left happy.

We went for the tasting menu which is absolutely a great experience. It starts from delicate flavours and gradually builds from there. Textures too. There are no trying-too-hard favours and such which we greatly appreciate - food shouldn't be complicated, if you know what I mean. Service is impeccable. Wine recommendations are superb. It's a busy place but there is still personal space between tables. We will be back.

Been coming here for about 10 years and first time since the re fit-out. Also the first time having a burger 🍔 and it was amazing.. probably the best burger I’ve ever had…. Which is a big call, but true. The steaks 🥩 here are amazing, along with all starters. Great vibe and can’t go wrong.
